DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

Strategic Leadership

  • In partnership & collaboration with the Vice President, develop and execute a strategic vision that aligns with the company’s overall objectives. Identify and pursue untapped market opportunities, potential partnerships, and emerging trends to drive business growth and opportunities.
  • Align people and organization around change, act as a change leader but create a series of change leaders to support a coordinated effort.
  • Drive and execute initiatives to enhance operational, efficiency, productivity, and quality to deliver world-class customer experience.

 

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee end-to-end processes by optimizing workflows, proactively seeking to improve processes, raising quality and productivity through efficiency, and implementing best-in-class solutions. 
  • Ensure GMP, HACCP, and EHS compliance with industry standards and regulations and stay abreast of changes as well as proactively implement necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and communication.

 

Customer & Vendor Relationships Management

  • Collaborate with external customers to understand their unique needs and expectations ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services far exceeding customer satisfaction.

 

Team Leadership & Opportunity

  • Provide servant leadership by fostering a culture of cross-functional collaboration, creativity, innovation, and accountability.
  • Lead by example by fostering open and transparent communication and feedback.

 

Performance Metrics & Analytics

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure, optimize, and continuously improve overall performance.
  • Use data analytics to identify trends, make informed real-time decisions, and drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively advise key stakeholders by extracting and communicating conclusions from key performance indicators, metrics, and analysis.

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, process optimization, and technology enhancement.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and product development to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in agriculture, CPG, or related industry with a strong record of leadership success.
  • Proficient in fiscal management, including budget development, cost-effective measures, financial analysis, and P & L accountability.
  • Excellent ability to engage in the “Big Picture” while planning with detail and acting to resolve problems and issues within the organization skillfully.
  • Proven success in driving sales strategies and achieving revenue targets.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a flexible and collaborative style.
  • Hands-on and player-coach mentality to help lead, develop, motivate, and drive a highly engaged and performing team.
  • Proven success in thriving in a goal-driven, solution-oriented, and passional-driven environment.
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a record for translating strategic thinking into action plans that align with business objectives & key results.
  • Strong ability to synthesize information from multiple sources, and communicate ideas and data both verbally and written persuasively and concisely.
  • Comfortable and skillfully pushing against a business-as-usual mentality.
  • Must have working-level knowledge of English and French, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Proficient in devising and executing effective sales and marketing strategies, including market understanding, audience identification, and compelling campaign creation.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven record of successful project execution.
  • Proven record in solution-based problem-solving techniques.
  • Must be willing to travel in the United States.
