SCOPE OF THE JOB
As the President, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the company to its next phase of growth and success. You will oversee and optimize overall performance, leveraging the history of service and influence in the industry to navigate an exciting period of transformation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a strategic blueprint to "Stabilize, Revitalize, and Optimize" the business within the first 90 days.
Drive operational excellence by implementing best-in-class processes to enhance production efficiency and margins across all functions.
Oversee end-to-end operations, ensuring quality, exceptional customer service, and cost-effective resource management from field to fork.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, deploying innovative solutions to achieve savings targets and enhance operations.
Manage operational budgets, capital investments, and capacity utilization to align with company objectives.
Optimize organizational capabilities and foster a high-performing culture through talent development and cross-functional collaboration.
Strengthen relationships with key customers and elevate the brand's reputation in the marketplace.
Maximize profitability and identify growth opportunities, aligning strategies with long-term objectives.
Champion sustainability efforts internally and within the supply chain, driving agility and cost efficiencies.
Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation.
Establish performance metrics to measure operational efficiency and drive sustainable business outcomes.
Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and promote the brand.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proven track record as a President or C-level executive in a similar business environment, preferably with private equity or portfolio company experience.
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 20+ years of progressive experience in agriculture, CPG, fresh produce, or food industry, preferably in multi-plant, multi-region operations.
Expertise in turnaround strategies and organizational transformation.
Commercial orientation with proficiency in sales and marketing strategies.
Strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Financial acumen, including budget management and P&L accountability.
Energetic leadership style with a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution.
Passion for the food and agriculture industry, with an understanding of market trends and supply chain dynamics.
Exceptional emotional intelligence and ability to foster a positive culture of change and accountability.
Experience in managing stakeholders and aligning diverse perspectives in high-pressure situations.
